COVID-19: For all travellers, please note that COVID-19 is currently considered a known event and there will be no coverage for any claims arising from COVID-19 if you activate your travel insurance online now unless the Single Trip policy with COVID-19 Travel optional benefit has been taken up. 22/08/2024 - Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda: In view of the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) advisory concerning travel to these countries, our travel policy does not cover for any claim:
- If you travel to or transit through the above-mentioned countries on or after 22 August 2024
- If you booked your trip to or transit through the abovementioned countries on or after 22 August 2024 or if you purchased your policy covering a trip to or transiting through the abovementioned countries on or after 22 August 2024 - whichever is later
22/08/2024 – Iceland: In view of on-going volcanic activity, the recent volcanic eruption is considered a known event and any travel policy sold on or after 22 August 2024 will not cover claims related to volcanic eruption.
12/03/2024 - Haiti: In view of the on-going civil unrest and high risk of violent crime, our travel policy does not cover for any claim:
- If you travel to or transiting through Haiti, on or after 12 March 2024
- If you booked your trip to or transit through Haiti on or after 12 March 2024 or if you purchased your policy covering a trip to or transiting through Haiti on or after 12 March 2024 - whichever is later
07/10/23 (updated 18/10/23) – Israel and Lebanon: In view of the latest developments, our travel policy does not cover for any claim:
- If you travel to or transiting through Israel, on or after 07 Oct 2023.
- If you booked your trip to or transit through Israel on or after 07 Oct 2023 or if you purchased your policy covering a trip to or transiting through Israel on or after 07 Oct 2023 - whichever is later.
- If you travel to or transiting through Lebanon, on or after 18 Oct 2023.
- If you booked your trip to or transit through Lebanon on or after 18 Oct 2023 or if you purchased your policy covering a trip to or transiting through Lebanon on or after 18 Oct 2023 - whichever is later.
24/02/22 - Ukraine: In view of the MFA Travel Advisory issued on 26 Jan 2022, our travel policy does not cover for any claim:
- If you travel to or transiting through Ukraine, on or after 26 Jan 2022.
- If you booked your trip to or transit through Ukraine on or after 26 Jan 2022; or if you purchased your policy covering a trip to or transiting through Ukraine on or after 26 Jan 2022; whichever is later.
