Enhance Your Policy with these Optional Benefits
We might ride out in groups, but no two riders are the same. Are you young and single? Or do you have a family waiting at home for you?
Just like your bike, you can modify your motorcycle insurance policy in Singapore with optional benefits.
Choose your ideal coverage option
NCD Protector Plus
Protect and advance your NCD even with an 'at-fault' claim. Only applicable for NCD20 and above.
New for Old
Your motorcycle will be replaced with the same/similar make and model if it is stolen in Singapore or suffers a total loss in an accident during the policy period.
Under this add-on, we'll work to protect any unnamed authorised rider that you choose to share your motorcycle with as long as they meet these criteria.
- Has a valid motorcycle driving license with at least 2 years of motorcycle driving experience
- Accident-free (no at-fault claims) for 3 consecutive years prior to the inception of insurance policy
- Not under suspension or disqualification from driving in the last 5 years
- Not using the insured motorcycle for rental or food delivery purpose
- Rides the motorcycle with the permission of the policyholder
- The age of the unnamed authorised rider is between 25 to 65 years old
You’ll get up to S$100,000 for death and/or loss of sight or limbs for the motorcyclist as a result of a motorcycle accident while riding the insured motorcycle.
You’ll get up to S$2,500 for you and any authorised driver (depending on your coverage), and the same amount for your passenger if injured in a motorcycle accident while riding the insured motorcycle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Am I eligible for DirectAsia’s motorcycle insurance?
To be eligible for our motorcycle insurance, there are two prerequisites you will need to fulfil - you will need to be a registered owner of a motorcycle in Singapore, and the main driver must be between the ages of 25 and 65, with at least 2 years’ valid motorcycle licence.
Can I add more than one driver to my policy?
You are allowed to add one other named driver to your policy, so long as they are also between the ages of 25 and 65 years, with at least 2 years of motorcycle-driving experience. If you wish to extend insurance coverage to more riders, you may want to consider supplementing your current policy with our Any Rider add-on option.
