  1. The Offer is valid from 1 August 2017 to 31 July 2025
  2. The Offer is applicable only to Shell GO+ loyalty members ("GO+ Members") who purchase or renew car or motorcycle insurance from Direct Asia Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd ("DirectAsia") during the Offer period, with policy term lasting a minimum of 12 months (or 365 days).

  5. Each policy sold under the Offer may only qualify for redemption of one Offer, with multiple redemptions not permitted.
  6. This Offer is only applicable to GO+ members who purchase a car or motorcycle insurance policy directly from DirectAsia or from DirectAsia appointed agency network.
  7. This Offer will not be applicable to GO+ members who choose to buy insurance via other distribution channels.
  8. For New-to-DirectAsia customers to enjoy the Offer, the vehicle to be insured under the Offer must not be the same vehicle as that insured under any other existing DirectAsia insurance policies held by him/her. The vehicle must also not have been insured with DirectAsia in the last 30 calendar days.
  9. For Existing DirectAsia customers to enjoy the Offer, he/she must have held a DirectAsia car or motorcycle insurance policy for at least the last consecutive seven (7) months. The relevant Offer will be applied according to the renewed policy’s cover type (e.g. Comprehensive or Third Party Only/Third Party Fire & Theft).
  10. If an Existing DirectAsia customer purchases a new car or motorcycle insurance policy for a different vehicle ("New Vehicle") that is not currently insured by DirectAsia, he/she will be eligible for the relevant New-to-DirectAsia Offer for the New Vehicle.
  11. To be eligible for the Offer, GO+ Members are required to submit a valid Shell GO+ ID through the Dedicated Website or Dedicated Hotline.
  12. By providing DirectAsia with the Shell GO+ ID and any other information via the Dedicated Website or Dedicated Hotline, the Shell GO+ Member gives both DirectAsia and Shell permission to contact him or her with regards to the insurance quote, policy and/or Offer.
  13. For New-to-DirectAsia customers who are unable to, or did not, provide his/her Shell GO+ ID for whatever reason when purchasing online via the Dedicated Website (e.g. did not know about the Offer or did not have their Shell GO+ ID to hand), a grace period of 14 calendar days from the policy start date ("Inception Date") will be extended for the Shell GO+ Member to provide his/her GO+ ID to DirectAsia by calling the Dedicated Hotline, failing which the Offer will not be applicable.
  14. Existing DirectAsia customers who wish to claim the Offer during the course of their policy term must call the Dedicated Hotline to provide DirectAsia with their GO+ ID, after which the Offer will take effect upon the next policy renewal.
  15. GO+ points will be credited by Shell to the GO+ Member's account within two (2) to three (3) months from the Inception Date assuming the Shell GO+ ID has been correctly and accurately provided to DirectAsia.
  16. Both DirectAsia and Shell shall not in any way be held liable in the event an Shell GO+ Member provides an invalid or incorrect Shell GO+ ID to DirectAsia and the corresponding Shell GO+ points are not credited to the GO+ Member’s account as a result.
  17. This Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other on-going promotions and offers as well as the following DirectAsia discounts and waivers, which, for the avoidance of doubt, remain at the sole discretion of DirectAsia:
    1. Multi-vehicle discount – refer to www.directasia.com/car-insurance/promo/extra-for-second-car / www.directasia.com/motorcycle-insurance/promo/extra-for-second-motorcycle for details; and
    2. Waiver of cancellation or cancellation refunds.
  18. This Offer is strictly not transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other form of currency.
  19. DirectAsia's car and motorcycle insurance policies are currently available only to residents of Singapore. DirectAsia reserves the sole right to accept or reject any application for car and motorcycle insurance at DirectAsia’s absolute discretion.
  20. The DirectAsia car or motorcycle insurance policy inception must occur within 90 days of purchase.
  21. If the qualifying DirectAsia car or motorcycle insurance policy is cancelled by the policyholder at any time after policy inception for whatever reason, DirectAsia reserves the right to deduct the value of the Offer from the refunded premium allowed under the policy, if any.
  22. This Offer is not applicable for:
    1. DirectAsia Low Mileage car insurance policies,
    2. Off-Peak Cars,
    3. Any existing DirectAsia customer whose policy renewal date occurs after 31 July 2025, and
    4. Staff of DirectAsia and their immediate family.
  23. The Offer details, dates, as well as these terms and conditions may be amended by DirectAsia at any time without prior notice to the customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my Shell GO+ points?

You should receive your Shell GO+ points within two (2) months after your policy begins. Please note in the event that an incorrect Shell GO+ ID is provided, it might take longer for you to receive your points.

What happens if I have not received my Shell GO+ points?

If your policy began more than 4 months ago and you are yet to receive your Shell GO+ points, please call the DirectAsia customer service hotline at 6991 3543 for help.

What can I redeem my Shell GO+ points on?

Shell GO+ points can be converted into free fuel at Shell. With just 300 Shell GO+ points, you will be able to redeem $10 worth of free Shell fuel. For more ways on how to use your Shell GO+ points, please visit www.shell.com.sg/shellgoplus.

How do I become a Shell GO+ Member?

Simply download the Shell Asia app on Apple App Store or Google Play Store and complete your registration. Once you have completed your registration, you will be able to start earning points from Shell and DirectAsia.

How can I find my Shell GO+ ID?

Open your Shell Asia app and click on My Account. Your 17 characters Shell GO+ ID beginning with D can be found under the QR Code found on the My Card page.

What happens if I do not have my Shell GO+ ID at the point of purchasing a DirectAsia motor insurance policy?

You are strongly encouraged to download the Shell Asia app at the point of purchase of a DirectAsia motor insurance policy. However, we will give you a grace period of 14 calendar days from the policy start date to call the dedicated Shell GO+ and DirectAsia customer service hotline at 6991 3543 to tag your Shell GO+ ID to your relevant motor insurance policy. Failing which, you will not be entitled to the Offer.

If I am an existing DirectAsia motor insurance customer, how can I activate my Shell GO+ benefits?

If you are an existing DirectAsia motor insurance customer who wishes to activate your Shell GO+ benefits during the course of your policy term, you must call the DirectAsia customer service hotline at 6991 3543 to provide DirectAsia with your Shell GO+ ID. Please note that the Shell GO+ benefits will take effect upon your next policy renewal.
