SINGAPORE --- Award-winning online insurer DirectAsia.com is launching a new low mileage car insurance – the first of its kind in Singapore.
The low mileage insurance cover is available to all drivers who use their car less than 8,000km per year. It means motorists will receive all the coverage they’d usually get but at a significantly reduced premium.
Simon Birch CEO of DirectAsia.com, said:
"Low mileage insurance plans are a great way to save money if you drive infrequently or are simply covering a second vehicle that gets used less often."
He added:
"Once again we’re delighted to be leading the way with this insurance product, as this is the first time it’s been made available in Singapore."
Drivers who put less than 8,000kms on their car each year are less exposed to car accidents.
As such DirectAsia.com is rewarding low mileage drivers with savings on their premiums. On average, drivers can save between ten and fifteen per cent (depending on the driver’s profile) just for driving less often.
Cover is available to all drivers who use their car less than 8,000km per year and includes regular motorists as well as those who drive an Off-Peak Car.
