Middle East Conflict
Due to the escalating security situation in the Middle East, customers are strongly advised to defer all travel to Israel, Iran and to countries within the Middle East (Israel, Iran, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the wider Middle East region) until further notice.
Your travel insurance coverage depends on your purchase date and time.
If you purchased your DirectAsia Travel Insurance before 28 Feb 2026, 2:40pm SGT, you are covered under your policy with us for claims arising from, or related to, the Middle East Conflict.
If you purchased your DirectAsia Travel Insurance on or after 28 Feb 2026, 2:40pm SGT, there will be no coverage for claims related to the Middle East Conflict.

COVID-19: For all travellers, please note that COVID-19 is currently considered a known event and there will be no coverage for any claims arising from COVID-19 if you activate your travel insurance online now unless the Single Trip policy with COVID-19 Travel optional benefit has been taken up. In view of the latest developments, our travel policy does not cover for any claim:
- If you travel to or are transiting through the following destinations on or after the corresponding dates
- If you booked your trip or are transiting through the following destinations on or after the corresponding dates or if you purchased your policy covering a trip to or transiting through the following destinations on or after the corresponding dates, whichever is later
