Car and Motorcycle Cancellation Request Form

Sold or scrapped your car or motorcycle?

Request to cancel your policy by completing the form and providing the necessary supporting documents below. Cancellation cannot be more than 30 days before or after today's date and policy coverage will cease 1 day after the vehicle de-registration or ownership transfer date.

Cancellation date refers to the date 1 day after you have de-registered the vehicle under your name with LTA or which you have transferred the ownership of the vehicle to the new owner as you will still require coverage on the date of de-registration/transfer of vehicle ownership. For example, if the date of transfer of vehicle ownership is 20th January, the cancellation date will be 21st January.

Refund details

Please select a payment mode and provide your details on how you would like to receive your refund. All refunds will be subjected to a cancellation fee of $90 (car insurance) / $53.50 (motorcycle insurance) (include of GST). No refund will be given if there is an accident reported and/or claim made under your insurance policy. We reserve the right to collect any outstanding premium from you if you have opted for our instalment payment plan.
