Medical expenses
We’ll help pay for medical expenses if you have an accident or become ill during your trip. This will include medical expenses outside of Singapore and follow-up treatment in Singapore. We’ll also pay for a chinese physician in Singapore following an injury. |

Fatal accident or disability
Your family will receive a cash sum if you have a fatal accident or become permanently disabled following an accident during your trip.
In the case of a fatality, we will make arrangements for local burial or pay for the deceased to be returned to Singapore. |
|
Emergency medical evacuation
You’re covered if you become sick or injured and need to be moved to another location, including Singapore, to receive urgent treatment. |
|
Personal belongings
We will help pay for any loss or damage to your personal belongings including cameras, clothes, bags, laptop, phone and PDA. We’ll also pay out if your travel documents, credit cards and cash or travellers’ cheques are either lost, stolen or damaged. |

Flight cancellations
You’re covered for flight cancellations whether they’re caused by ash clouds, flu epidemics or strikes. |
|
Delays caused by public transport
If your journey is delayed because of late public transport, it’s been overbooked or there has been a misconnection then rest assured we have you covered. |
|
Travel cancellation
If you, a relative or travel companion become injured or sick before your trip and have to cancel it then we will help to reimburse your fare and accommodation charges.
We will compensate you if;
|
The travel company or carrier becomes insolvent and your trip is cancelled. |
|
The public transport carrier cancels your trip. |
|
|
Your travel is cut short or you become stranded
We will help reimburse you the cost for the rest of your planned trip if it has been cut short due to an unexpected death, serious injury or illness to either yourself, a relative or travel companion.
We will pay you if your trip is cut short or you become stranded because of natural disasters or if there has been an unexpected civil commotion that prevents you from continuing with the scheduled trip. You are also covered for additional hotel stays and costs incurred on your return to Singapore. |

Travel delay
If your flight, bus or boat is delayed for more than 6 hours then we will compensate you. |
|
Automatically extend your policy
We’ll automatically extend your policy if your flight is delayed or you are injured and you can’t get back home on your scheduled date. |
|
Sports
We'll automatically cover you for most sport activities such as football, running, swimming, basketball, fishing and golf.
We’re happy to insure you for extreme sports too so long as you inform us during the time of purchase. The only conditions that we have are;
|
You must not be competing professionally. |
|
You are not taking part in any speed-time trial or any form of race other than on foot, cycling or swimming. |
|
You are not trekking or hiking above 6,000 metres altitude. |
|
You have a licensed guide for; |
| |
- trekking, hiking or mountain biking in extreme areas
- off-piste skiing
- scuba-diving
- rafting, canoeing or kayaking in white water rapids
- parachuting, sky-diving, paragliding and parascending or other similar activities
- rock climbing, caving, pot-holing, mountaineering or any activities that require use of ropes
- hang-gliding
- hot-air ballooning |

Optional benefit
If your return travel is delayed then make sure your dog or cat is protected.
