Whittington is an international insurance investment and service business, headquartered in Singapore. The company is dedicated to providing bespoke and innovative solutions to the insurance industry (www.whittingtoninsurance.com).

Whittington formed the subsidiary DirectAsia.com (www.directasia.com), to challenge the existing agency-based personal lines insurance industry in South East Asia. The Singapore operation was deployed on the back of IDIT™ Software Suite, to manage all core policy administration, claims, and accounting, including a call center and web portal.

The new web-based direct insurance software, which is built on modern Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), enables fast deployment of insurance products, backed by a customer-centric management system.

This IDIT™ implementation was conducted jointly with IBEXI, our partner from India, from the early sales & pre-sales phase, all the way through the project implementation and down to the successful go-live.
